All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) is accepting online registration for MBBS Course Admission in AIIMS Delhi and other Six AIIMS started in the year 2012 i.e AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Raipur, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Before submitting online form the candidate must check their eligibility criteria (AIIMS 2018 Eligibility Standard) so that your candidature is not canceled by the Controller of Examination. In the year 1956, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS New Delhi) was started by the Act of Parliament. At present, there are total 7 AIIMS in India. The total MBBS Seats available for the admission is 672 (six hundred seventy-two only). The reservation standard is also applicable for the seats. So, candidate belonging to the OBC, ST, ST, PH category can check AIIMS MBBS Seat Intake, reservation rules etc.
AIIMS MBBS Seats and Reservation
In AIIMS Delhi total 72 MBBS seats are available for Indian Nationals, the decision of Govt. is pending for the Foreign candidate admission. Maybe in the year 2018, the IOC, Foreign Nationals can also fill the AIIMS 2018 MBBS admission form. Apart from AIIMS Delhi, in all other SIX AIIMS total 600 MBBS admission seats are available for Indian Nationals, so in every AIIMS, 100 M.B.B.S seats to be filled. AIIMS Seat Reservation
The reservation policy from the Govt. of India is applicable to all the AIIMS. So, there is reservation based on the caste category. As per the latest news and updates, the AIIMS Seat Reservation policy is 27% for OBC candidate, 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates (for Indian Nationals) and 3% for the Orthopaedic Physical Handicapped (horizontal 3%). OBC Candidate Reservation Policy
AIIMS 2018 admission and seat reservation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) shall be according to the rules of the Government of India. Applicants are required to ensure that he/she does not belong to the persons/sections (Creamy Layer). The candidate must download the OBC Caste format from the Prospectus. The OBC Certificate to be produced during counseling should NOT be older than ONE Year on the date of 1st Counseling. (
Between 03.07.2017 and 04.07.2018).

SC/ ST Caste Certificate & Reservation
The reservation for SC/ST candidates for the admission in MBBS course at AIIMS Delhi and other AIIMS i.e. Jodhpur, Bhopal, Raipur, Patna, Rishikesh, Bhubneshwar. The reservation for SC is 15% and ST is 7.5% of all seats. As the candidate must note down that the reservation policy will be according to the rules of Government of India. Applicants will be required to produce the necessary certificate in the format provided.
OPH Reservation/ Seat Intake
The candidate who are orthopedic physical handicapped (OPH) gets 3% horizontal MBBS seat reservation. Also note that if candidate are selecting OPH category then they must possess a valid document certifying his/her physical disability conforming to judgment of Supreme Court of India i.e.
(i) With the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India vide letter no. 18018/2/2009-ME (P-1) dated 17.02.2009 it has been decided that while providing reservation in admission to medical course in the first instance candidates with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% shall be considered and in case candidates are not available of such candidates in that category then the candidates with disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% will also be considered.
(ii) The disability certificate should be certified by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals/Institutions.
Seat inter-convertibility Policy RULE
What is the seat reserved for the SC are vacant? In such situation, the seat inter convertibility policy is applied. The rules say that if seat reserved for any category is not filled due to the minimum cut-off marks or other reason than that seats is converted to or available for the other category candidates. Similarly, in case the OBC seat remains vacant after calling all eligible OBC candidates then these seats shall be made available to the general category.
